Richmond, and our welcoming neighborhood, which is in a close-in suburb, has much to offer as does Virginia. "Distinctive architecture, intriguing galleries and restaurants", Richmond has ranked in several venues as one of the best places to visit, for example #39 in the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/travel/places-to-visit.html). Natural beauty, history, beaches! Virginia's got it all. Home of the excellent Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, James River (white-water rafting, kayaking, hiking), we are 2 hours from Washington, DC, 1 hour from Williamsburg, VA, 1.25 hours from Charlottesville (Shenandoah National Park), 2 hours from Atlantic Ocean and Blue Ridge Mountains, 3 theme parks w/in 1 hour (Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens & Water Country), State Capitol.
There are many upscale, international restaurants within 7 minutes of our home and 3 major shopping malls.

Our neighborhood is quiet with about 32 homes and not a thoroughfare. Our neighbors are very welcoming and helpful. We are adjacent to our swim club, where there are tennis courts and 2 pools to which we can arrange for you to enjoy.
