We are in a great location midway between San Francisco and San Jose, on a waterway near the Bay--30 minutes to downtown SF, Pacific beaches, or hiking in redwood forests. We have exchanged more than 20 times, mostly in Europe. We would especially enjoy exchange in France (Provence Dordogne, Haute Savoie.)

We are 30 minutes from San Francisco, Pacific beaches, huge redwood trees in parks for hiking; and for longer day trips, Carmel/Monterey, Sausalito, Napa and Sonoma wine growing areas are about 1.5 hours by auto.
Locally, San Carlos, Redwood City old town, and San Mateo are filled with restaurants of all types and ethnicity.
