Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Experienced House Exchangers with Historic Victorian
Home in Palo Alto, 25 miles from San Francisco

Our home is a restored Victorian, originally built in 1895. We have a chef's kitchen, spacious dining room, living room with a TV, and a home office. Two of the bedrooms each have a bed to sleep 1-2 people. The 3rd bedroom can be used as a family room OR a bedroom with an inflatable bed.

We have a backyard with a lovely patio for outdoor dining. Also, we are avid vegetable gardeners. During your visit, any vegetables in the garden are for you! And with 2 lemon trees, you will ALWAYS have plenty of lemons for drinks and cooking.

We live in Palo Alto, a college town, home to Stanford University.

Our home is in a peaceful, historical neighborhood within walking distance of University Avenue with restaurants, unique boutiques, a Farmer's Market, and bookstores. During the summer, you can find free outdoor music. You are within walking distance from Stanford Shopping Center, a beautiful open-air shopping center. Stanford University has many cultural, athletic, and intellectual events for a wide range of interests. These include the Rodin Sculpture Garden, Cantor Art Museum, Hoover Tower Research Library, and the Braun Music Center.

Our Preferences

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules

We have a shy, 8-yr old calico cat named Splash. She is very timid. She likes to spend most of her time in our bedroom. When people she doesn't know are here, she goes out under the bed and comes out at night or when you aren't.

Please check our exchange preferences below.
