Some of the main attractions of St. Augustine include the Fort, the historic Flagler hotels, The Bridge of Lions and the Alligator Farm. St. Augustine has numerous good
restaurants, libraries, parks, movies, cafes, and museums.

Florida is a beautiful state that will not disappoint. Just a 15 minute drive to the east brings you to the famous Florida Beaches and the warm Atlantic Ocean waters. Other nearby driving destinations are one hours to Daytona Beach, 1-1/2 hours to The Kennedy Space Center, Two hours to Orlando (Disney, MGM, Seaworld, etc.) and five hours to Miami.


Florida temperatures are warm and balmy but do bring suntan lotion. Our winters are quite mild. Our local citrus - oranges and grapefruit, are sweet and delicious. La Florida was named for our colorful flowers, another treat for your eye.
