We are an active semi-retired couple who love to travel and enjoy sharing our home and living in others' homes immersing ourselves in new communities. We love shopping in open air markets, cooking, and discovering favorite restaurants. Browsing in galleries, visiting museums and attending concerts are also favorites. We are avid cyclist and love riding our tandem. We also love to golf, hike, and ski.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our quiet hillside home 1.7 miles from the plaza has expansive views over Santa Fe. Our deck with an outdoor fireplace is a wonderful retreat to relax on by day and enjoy a fire and the stars by night. The large master bedroom has a California king bed and the master bath has a steam shower and a full tub. The guest bedroom has a Queen bed and a full bath with a tub/shower. There is a workout room with a bike, elliptical trainer and weight machine. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a lovely eating area. We have a large TV in our office/den. There is beautiful walking in the neighborhood including access to the extensive Dale Ball trail system. Santa Fe Ski Basin is about 13 miles from our home and the wilderness area with terrific hiking starts about 3 miles from our home. Santa Fe has multiple museums and is a renowned art capital. It is also a wonderful base to explore the Southwest with Grand Canyon and many national parks in Colorado and Utah within a days drive or less. Our home is NOT suitable for children.

Our home is situated on a hillside in a quiet. single family home neighborhood, with extensive views and great privacy, yet we are only 1.7 miles from the heart of Santa Fe. Access to shopping, restaurants, cultural and outdoor activities is very quick and easy.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Santa Fe’s charming plaza area that is surrounded by restaurants,galleries,shops and museums can be easily accessed by car or on foot. Museum Hill, which is about 3 miles from our home, has 4 unique museums and the botanical garden. Canyon Road is home to at least 50 + art galleries as well as many beautiful jewelry, clothing and misc. shops. There are many day spas and two exceptional spas 10 Thousand Waves and Ojo Santa Fe both offering outdoor soaking pools, a full range of spa services and lovely restaurants.
There is abundant hiking both in Santa Fe and in the surrounding mountains. Bandelier National Park is an hours drive and there are numerous petroglyphs in the area. Within the city limits one can hike up Picacho Peak or Atalaya Mt.

There is no smoking allowed anywhere on our property including on our deck. We are leaving a notebook with information about our home that we hope you will read.
