Ground floor condo in a 2-unit turn-of-19th century Edwardian. Renovated to 21st century conveniences, retaining erstwhile charm with quarter sawn oak floors, crown moldings, picture rail, soaring ceiling, bright bay windows etc. Home has a foyer, drawing room, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, dining room and a kitchen with a dinette. Drawing room has a full size pull-out sofa. The patio on the ground floor is shared with the residents upstairs.

The condo is in Noe Valley, a residential neighborhood of San Francisco, located in the midst of Dolores Street's majestic palms. It is walking distance to all that Church Street, 24th Street , Valencia Street and Mission Street have to offer: shopping, groceries, bakeries and restaurants. It is 2 blocks from the J Line and 4 ( steep! as we are on the crest of a hill) blocks from the BART (local subway) station, providing a 20 minute ride to the Embarcadero and the business district. SF International Airport is also served by BART.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

A 15 minute walk to Dolores Park, a beautifully landscaped urban park with panoramic city views. It is a popular spot to people watch, to picnic etc. with a dedicated well equipped children's play area. Two minutes from Dolores Park is the historic Mission Dolores. Close to the park are the very popular Bi Rite ice cream shop and Tartine bakery. Two blocks east of the house is the Mission District known for its shops, eateries and a unique vibe characterized by colorful murals in public places. Twin Peaks, which is a popular tourist spot known for a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding bay and ocean, is 2.5 miles by car or 1.7 miles by foot from the house.
