When we arrived at the New Orleans home of Leslie and Chuck we were greeted by a huge basket of goodies, food in the fridge, written instructions, a very comfortable and clean house, a peaceful outside patio and Leslie herself who is a charming and very helpful. They have wonderful artwork in every room representing New Orleans which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was right in the middle of the French Quarter and we were able to enjoy everything within the heart of the area. We made the mistake of thinking we only needed to come to New Orleans for 4 nights and 3 days BUT that is NOT enough time. We would strongly recommend at least a week in New Orleans!!! It was a special trade, we loved it and say thank you soooo very much to Leslie and Chuck.

This was a great place to stay in wonderful New Orleans. The accommodation is in the heart of the French Quarter, accessed straight from the street side door down a side passage, but beautifully tucked away and quiet. It was just perfect for what we wanted- full of character and well furnished and equipped with all we needed. Leslie and Chuck were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful. We do hope they enjoy their return trip to Southwold as much as we enjoyed N'Awlins!

Our location is in the heart of the French Quarter which is only 7 x 14 blocks filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, music venues, galleries, cooking school, museums, cathedral and the mighty Mississippi River! Take a leisurely stroll down Royal Street and take in the many shops that will catch your eye. Or, head to nearby Magazine Street and get your fill of shopping and dining from morning til night. If you want to live like a local, it does not get any better than this.

The house was right in the middle of the French Quarter and we were able to enjoy everything within the heart of the area. We made the mistake of thinking we only needed to come to New Orleans for 4 nights and 3 days BUT that is NOT enough time. We would strongly recommend at least a week in New Orleans!!! It was a special trade, we loved it and say thank you soooo very much to Leslie and Chuck.

This was a great place to stay in wonderful New Orleans. The accommodation is in the heart of the French Quarter, accessed straight from the street side door down a side passage, but beautifully tucked away and quiet. It was just perfect for what we wanted- full of character and well furnished and equipped with all we needed. Leslie and Chuck were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful.
