- Although several attractions were closed due to Covid-19, we still had a really nice time in Nashville. The house was very comfortable and was situated in a lovely neighborhood in an ideal location for exploring the entire area. Outdoors, we enjoyed walking on the waterfront, driving on the Natchez Trace Parkway and roaming around the zoo and the historical home on the zoo grounds; we especially enjoyed visiting the Cheekwood Gardens and Mansion. We also had some lovely meals, visited some of the area's small towns and just lapping up the Nashville energy.

We are currently seeking an exchange in the Southeast region of the USA.
Visit Music City USA and enjoy the home of country music! We are convenient to the airport and walkable to a train or bus that drops you at the center of the action downtown in 12 minutes, rain or shine. From live music every night of the week, to day trips to Mammoth Cave National Park or historic Franklin, to several quirky shopping districts and a huge restaurant scene, Nashville will keep you entertained.
Our home is a one-story ranch in a beautiful '50s neighborhood with a historic overlay. Our neighborhood is friendly and charming, where every house has its own unique look. There's always someone taking a walk, whether with a dog or a stroller or a friend. We are walking distance from some up-and-coming attractions, including new restaurants featuring hot chicken, Mexican, Indian, a vegan cafe/bakery, and a cool pizza and beer joint.
Our home has three bedrooms: a master with a half bath, a nursery (not available for use at this time), and a guest bedroom with a pullout couch (queen size with memory foam mattress). There's also a full bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room, and two-car garage. The backyard is fenced, and we have a fire pit and sitting area on our back patio. Our home is tidy, cozy, and comfortable. We love it and think you will, too!

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
In our neighborhood, kids still ride bicycles, and Boy Scouts collect items for the food pantry door to door. Neighbors watch out for each other; we know all of our immediate neighbors and several further afield. The neighborhood consists of several looping streets (great for walks) and has a historic overlay, as many of the buildings are unique. We live tucked deep in the neighborhood, so the street doesn't get much traffic. We've never had any instances of crime. We take walks almost daily here!

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our neighborhood is walkable to several new and interesting restaurants. We live about 10 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills, and Opryland Hotel. We are very convenient to many trailheads on an extensive greenway system. We're five minutes from Nashville International Airport and are near major highways with easy access to downtown (although you also can get downtown with no highways, in about 10 minutes on a secondary road). Nashville attractions are everywhere! Museums, music, restaurants, events, etc. We have the Country Music Hall of Fame, performing arts, major and independent movies, many shopping districts, every cuisine, Predators pro hockey team, Ryman Auditorium, Grand Ole Opry, singer-songwriter showcases, parks, and the list goes on and on and on... Also, Nashville is a major healthcare city. We have many world-class health facilities, including Vanderbilt Medical Center.
We've made a welcome guide that we will provide to anyone staying in our home (once all parties have agreed to an exchange). This guide explains in detail anything to know about our home, plus all of our recommendations for everything from groceries and pharmacies, to restaurants and sightseeing.

Cameron is a neat freak, so you'll get the place in tip-top shape and will receive clear instructions and communications about anything from her. We prefer tidy people who are responsible and will treat our home like it's their own. We will not allow any parties or drugs of any kind. On the other hand, a glass of wine is always welcomed! :)
Our biggest request is that we'd love if you could take care of our two rabbits, Alfred and Otis. They are four years old and lots of fun. They take about 5-10 minutes a day to care for, and it entails freshening the litter in their hutch (which is in our garage), giving them some hay and pellets, and checking on their water. All of the supplies would be provided. If you happen to be an animal lover and would like to play with them, we definitely would love for you to! No pressure, though.
