Description of the home we are offering for exchange
GATEWAY TO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST - Lynden is near two of the world's most beautiful cities: Vancouver, BC in Canada (one hour north), and Seattle (two hours south). Enjoy 10,778 foot high snow-capped Mount Baker one hour east or the many saltwater beaches 20 minutes to the west. Take a short ferry boat ride to the San Juan Islands or tour local raspberry and blueberry farms. Golf courses abound within an easy 5-15 minute drive from this Lynden Condominium. You will also want to visit the local Lynden Pioneer Museum and see the largest horse drawn buggy collection west of the Mississippi River. You can visit the Jansen Art Center in Lynden which is a place for artists to create, teach, share, and engage the community in an appreciation of the arts. Please see http://www.lyndenwa.org/ and http://www.bellingham.org/ for more attractions. Located less than a 5-minute drive to the Canadian border, Lynden has for decades been a either the last stop up, or the first stop down for millions of travelers making their way around the Pacific Northwest. With the bustling vibrant city of Vancouver to the north, and Seattle to the south, these two west coast cultural and business powerhouses are within easy reach, and when you include the many points in between, offer an eclectic and exciting adventure for just a day, or even longer!
