My husband Judd is a filmmaker and I work in the business side of Fashion. We enjoy food & cooking so you'll find our house has a well equipped kitchen. Our 12 year old son Hayden is a thoughtful sweet kid who hopes to see the world and experience other cultures, while his parents try to limit his obsession with screens. We all love the outdoors and are happier when there is a lake, ocean or mountain nearby.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are seeking an exchange near a lake and/or national park this summer.
Beautifully restored brownstone filled with original details. Back patio/yard ideal for a family or those who just want to escape the city noise. We love to cook so our kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of space to relax & enjoy Brooklyn.
House - 2 or more floors/ Main Residence
Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Bedford Stuyvesant is only a short subway (or bike) ride into the city all while offering the quiet and charm of brownstone Brooklyn. It is one of few remaining neighborhoods in Brooklyn with a feel of real community. Tree lined residential streets with beautiful historical architecture.
Family owned restaurants (Caribbean, ribs, fish), hardware, and mom and pop corner stores mix up well with up recently opened trendy coffee shops, eateries & wellness. Real diversity in food & people.
We love to explore Brooklyn, but the location makes it very easy for you to explore Manhattan as well: express A train at Nostrand is a 10 min walk, local C train is 5 min. From there a 15-20 min subway ride to downtown Manhattan.
Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Prospect Park, Williamsburg, Brooklyn Museum, Farmers Market, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Bushwick Street Art, Food Festivals, Parks with views of Manhattan, Bike Paths, Children's Museum and many Restaurants, Cafes + Shops. And of course all NYC offers via a short subway ride.

Love and respect our house as we do & return it in the same condition. Pets may be considered, no cats as our son is allergic. No smoking inside. We have 3 floors of the brownstone, on the garden level we have a wonderful tenant. Must be quiet to not disrupt her early in the morning or late at night.
