This delightful lakefront 4-br colorful home in serene neighborhood, is a stone's throw from Stone Mt, the DeKalb Farmer's Market and central to just about anywhere in Atlanta. Canoe by arrangement and public pool around the corner. Fun, whimsical, artistic, joyful, airy with lots of possibilities & extras! Enjoy the screened in porch and views of the lake! We have many upgrades like Calvin Klein bedding in some rooms, a top of the line Bonavita coffee maker, a bidet, and colorful china, crockery and towels. The kitchen is fully loaded. We've justed added a second flat screen tv in the Club Room downstairs.

Our home near Atlanta in Clarkston, GA is a colorful, fun and artistic lakefront 4-bedrooms (1 Master King with Lake View, 1 Victorian Queen with brand new memory foam mattress, 1 cosy Futon in private room and 1 comfy Pull Out sofa in private wing with walk out screened porch and lake view) about 20 min from the totally hip downtown metro Atlanta, GA USA - the most sophisticated and cosmopolitan city in the South. We have accommodated up to eight people, but six or less may be a better number. Many couples have enjoyed the house for themselves. Comfortable and welcoming, the house is central to everything in the area - including being just five minutes from the magnificent and internationally noted Stone Mountain park with hiking, laser show and fireworks every evening in the summer. There is a great park right across the street and around the corner, a public pool with modest and sometimes free admission and lots of hiking, walking and bike trails.
Our warmly welcoming and whimsical home is located on a lovely small lake in the serene and friendly town of Clarkston where you can walk to ethnic restaurants, the quirky and fascinating Thriftown international market, biking and walking paths, a park with bar-b-cue, tennis courts, large scale summer movies, a swimming pool, and 5 min from one of the best Farmer's Markets in the region. There's even a canoe at the house for the stout of heart!

In Atlanta and the adjacent Buckhead you'll find fabulous shopping, restaurants, great music scene, night life, a fantastic art museum and theater scene, sports arena, one of the best Aquariums in the country, a beautiful botannical garden, tour of the tv studios of CNN, The World of Coca Cola museum, the phenomenal and ultra cool biking and walking path in the urban center called the Beltline and much more.

From Atlanta there are tons of day trip and weekend or longer get-always possibilities including the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Highlands in North Carolina, the historic Antebellum Savannah, Ga and its nearby Tybee Island Beach, the historic Charleston, SC, Myrtle Beach, St. Simon's Island, Jekyll Island and more. Disneyland is an easy flight to Orlando, Fla.

Our house is central to everything in the metro Atlanta, GA area and we are happy to consider a reciprocal exchange with you for each other's cars, if interested unless public transport would suffice, and would love to borrow bikes if available, as well.

We are planning a three month trip to Europe (July 12-Oct 6) and are looking for a few nights in Barcelona, Spain (July 13 + 14 and July 26, 27 + 28 or Aug 1-16; Montpellier, France Aug 1, 2 + 3; Slavenia , Venice, Ledo, Rome and parts of Tuscany like Siena, San Gimignano, CinqueTerre, etc..
