Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Authentically remodeled historic adobe home (circa 1882) with hardwood floors, moldings and fixtures using reclaimed barn wood. The main house comes with two bedrooms, two baths. Attached to the main house with a separate entrance, you can also stay in a casita (little house) w/ family room, bedroom and full bath. Quiet downtown historic neighborhood includes parks, museums, galleries, and restaurants nearby. An hour by car or train to Santa Fe, New Mexico, a world renowned art mecca. One and half hours to Georgia O'Keefe's estate in Abique, NM. Albuquerque is home to the International Balloon Fiesta in October. If you like to hike, fabulous hiking trails within 15-20 minutes in the Sandia Mts (max elevation 10, 200'). This home is cooled in the summer by swamp coolers (the air conditioning of the Southwest).
