Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Our home will be available for a non-simultaneous exchange from 4 October to 9 November, 2024 - we are open to offers.

Our home is a comfortable late Victorian terraced town house in a quiet area of the city of Truro. We have two double bedrooms and one small single bedroom. The gardens, front and back, are small, but offer space for sitting and eating outside. Our house is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Truro, which has a good range of shops and restaurants as well as its Victorian cathedral and a fascinating museum. It makes the perfect base for exploring this unique corner of Great Britain.

Neighbourhood

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

Truro - technically a city because of its cathedral - is an attractive town of about 20,000 people. It has good road, rail and bus links (with fast trains to London, the Midlands and Scotland), its own theatre and cinema, and is within easy reach of beaches, country walks, and beautiful countryside.

Cornwall is the UK's favourite holiday region, with its mild climate, wonderful coastline with lovely beaches, and lots to see and do. Highlights include the Eden Project, numerous beautiful gardens, and some world-class surfing. Truro, the county town of Cornwall, is one of the UK's smallest cathedral cities, with a good range of shops and restaurants as well as its Victorian cathedral and a fascinating museum, all within walking distance of our house. It makes the perfect base for exploring this unique corner of the UK.
