Our neighbourhood is quiet and friendly and the house lends itself to being sociable as the front drive and garden lead directly onto the street. Their are numerous walks to the fishing lakes and walks across the country lanes and Martock the nearest place for shopping is ideal for cycling and walking. There are lots of National Trust places to visit i.e Montacute House and Barrington Court . A 45 minute drive to the Jurassic Coast which has stunning views and some beautiful coastal walks, quaint harbours and many places to enjoy the local dishes. Am just off the A303 so easy access to Devon and Cornwall and an easy trip to Stonehenge and London. The sailing and windsurfing take place at Weymouth which is about 1 hour away. Yeovil has a good public swimming pool with sauna and steam room. Street a discount retail outlet has a fantastic outdoor pool which is open from May to September. A local tennis club is Martock is friendly I have been a member for many years.
