Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are lucky to have a holiday flat in Looe on the Cornish coast. The flat has wonderful views of the harbour and has surprisingly good public transport links to places such as Plymouth, St Ives, and many other places of interest.
The flat is an ideal size for two people and a friend. Though it’s small it’s well equipped and we were very happy to live there for four months during the pandemic.
Please note that it’s quite a climb to our flat up some steps. So it’s not suitable if you have limited mobility. However that’s why the views from the flat are so stunning.
There is no private parking. But you can always find free parking, though it may be a short walk from the flat.
From abroad, Looe can be reached by flying to one of the London airports and then travelling by train from Paddington station, a journey of around 4 hours. Alternatively you can fly to Newquay airport and get the train from there. If you’re coming from France you can get the ferry to Plymouth, and then it’s a 40 minute drive.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Looe is a very safe and friendly town. It’s particularly beautiful outside the summer holidays. It has a lively fishing port and clean town beach with lots of sand. The walks from the town along the coast and inland are superb year round.
