Neighbourhood

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

A multicultural neighbourhood with excellent access to central London - 30 mins by metro from door to door. There are pubs, a diverse range of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance and parkland, some of which is original forest (though well used by residents).
Turnpike lane tube station: Piccadilly line - <10 mins walk. ½ hour door to door to Leicester Square or Trafalgar Square.
Buses: lots on the many stops on the High Road towards and away from town. Most useful probably #41 to Crouch End (but only 20 min walk) from the cross roads of Turnpike lane and Hornsey Park Rd / Wightman Rd. Also buses to West End, Islington etc
Overground trains: Hornsey – also 10-15 minutes walk. Range of trains to town, Hackney etc or north and east if you fancy a day trip out of London.
