Description of the home we are offering for exchange
The Old School Cottage is part of the former village school and was still a school up to 1992. It was built in 1875. Car parking is included for one car. Free high speed WIFI. Very quiet setting with great walking on our doorstep. Access to garden, terrace and bbq. Horrabridge is picturesque village with its medieval stone bridge over River Walkham, Weir and tree lined park. Dartmoor information www.visitdartmoor.com

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The cottage is in a very quiet location. A short (200m) walk leads into the centre of the village with 2 pubs, corner shop, fish and chip shop, hair salon, bakery and art gallery. Horrabridge is situated in Dartmoor National Park (364 square miles) on the edge of the River Walkham and has a 2 parks to enjoy. Many walks are possible from here. Cycle hire is possible and cycling tracks are also nearby. We are four miles from Tavistock, a beautiful and twelve miles from Plymouth. The closest beach is approximately 15 miles away.

Short walk to local amenities. Bus or car to Tavistock - 4 miles. The City of Plymouth is 12 miles. Many National Trust and English Heritage properties dotted around Devon, Cornwall and Dartmoor. Exeter is 45 min drive.
Buckland Abbey (home of Sir Francis Drake) is 2 miles. The Garden House is 1 mile. Lydford Gorge is 10 miles. Saltram House is 10 miles.
