Within easy reach of the historic New Forest National Park, Purbecks, Christchurch, Poole & Bournemouth, and the spectacular Jurassic south coast with its many beautiful beaches, towns and villages and fascinating history, including Thomas Hardy country. This location offers a fantastic choice of activities including hiking, watersports, sailing, golfing, horse riding, fishing…..you name it. If art, history, antiques, theatre, food & music are your thing there’s plenty on the doorstep, and the historical cities of Winchester, Southampton and Salisbury are easily accessible, with ‘must see’ places like Bath just 1½ hours by car, Bristol and London 2 hours.
