Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are now looking for Christmas in the UK (Saffron Walden area) and Spring and Summer 2019 Sorry we can't exchange if you have cats. We are allergic.
We have a large Victorian house with all modern features and a newly refurbished kitchen and bathrooms. Our house is in a fashionable suburb of Edinburgh (Portobello), we enjoy a sea view and the beach is 5 minutes walk from the house. In Portobello you can enjoy lovely walks along the promenade plus we have many small independent shops,cafes and restaurants.
We are 7 minutes to the city by train or bus and all the delights of this fantastic city - castle, museums, art galleries and the world famous Edinburgh Festivals. We are also 15mins from the famous Roslyn Chapel (Da Vinci Code)
By car you can also enjoy trips to the Highlands, Loch Lomond or Lowlands including Burns (Ayrshire) Glasgow is 45mins by train, Perth 1hr or St.Andrews - home of Golf.

Family friendly, active, funky and a bit trendy. Portobello is by the sea and the community is very active. We have a swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts and miles of beach walks. Shops are plentiful and of good quality. Lots of places to eat too.
