Mike & Susan are both 62 ( born 1960 ) living & working in London. Mike is a qualified Chartered Surveyor dealing with mainly commercial retail real estate and Susan is a qualified Speech Therapist specialising with young children. We have 3 grown up children and 2 grand children who all live locally in London. In addition to spending weekends at our second home in Brighton, we both enjoy walking, cycling, sports, crafts & a wide variety of leisure activities.

Mid terrace and forming part of a Georgian Listed building, our second home is a maisonnette apartment on 2 levels with its own front door. Recently refurbished with new fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, carpets and redecorated throughout. Entrance lobby leading to kitchen with dining table. Spacious lounge with TV & sound system. Downstairs to main
bedroom with 2 single beds ( can be combined ) and plenty of wardrobe space. Smaller second bedroom with queen size double bed. Bathroom with shower. Vault room with storage of bicycles. Wheelchair & disable person accessible to ground floor only as stairs to bedrooms would be quite restricted. Access to nearby private Kemptown Garden with own key.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our home is in a quiet corner of Kemp Town which is a Bohemian suburb of Brighton renowned for its LGBT community whilst popular with working young professionals. There is a pub nearby ( The Rock PH ) and also local shops & restaurants within a few minutes walk.Brighton beach is a 10 minute walk and there are numerous bars & leisure activities all within easy walking distance.

A short walk from our home and you can be on the beach; stroll along the promenade to Brighton town; Palace Pier; Volks Electric Railway; British Airways i360 Tower and explore the nearby marina and numerous cafes, restaurants, gym, etc; relax in the private 3 acre Kemptown garden with its own tunnel access to the beach ( inspiration for Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland ) or walk up onto the South Downs National Park with panoramic views over the
English Channel.
