We are a semi-retired couple, both teachers. Our two adult children live locally. Our interests are walking and hiking, wildlife and culture. We live close to the City centre of the UK's second city. A 25 minute walk from city centre theatres, restaurants and museums. Birmingham is host to the Commonwealth Games 2022 this summer and will be an exciting place to visit!

Detached family residence, in a central location but quiet neighbourhood. Large garden with patio and fish pond. 3 bathrooms, one ensuite. 2 downstairs reception rooms.
Parking on drive for two cars. Two adult bicycles available (one an 'e-bike') and bike carrier for car.

Our neighbourhood is friendly and is a cul de sac. Most residents have been here for many years and there is a variety of age groups. Bus services are close by and there is a field and reservoir behind the house.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
It is a short walk to many restaurants and to a reservoir with perimeter pedestrian/cycle path directly behind the house.
Stratford -Upon -Avon is a 45 minute drive and other National Trust properties are even closer. London is a short train train ride and day-trips are easy to arrange.
The reservoir has a 2km circular walk and lots of wildlife including kingfishers, grebes and and a variety of wild birds. We have a wildlife camera and have spotted badgers and foxes in the garden at night.
