Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Updated ground floor condo with relaxing patio, remote-controlled gas log fireplace, gas heater, in-wall-AC, ceiling fan, and community pool. 5 minutes walk to the Iron Horse Trail, 15 mins walk to restaurants, cafes, and shopping, 20 minutes walk / 4 minutes drive to the Walnut Creek BART rail station (to airport, San Francisco city, etc.). TV, BluRay DVD, Wii U, Internet, Basic Cable and Showtime movie channel.
Note: this is a downstairs condo with upstairs neighbors, so a bit of floor-echo does come through at times.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our condo complex is 90% owner-occupied, quiet families, with 3 community pools and on-site laundry. We are quite close to the Iron Horse Walking/Jogging/Cycling Trail, going to Walnut Creek Downtown shopping, dining, nightlife and movie theaters. The downtown area is a 4-minute drive, or a 20-minute stroll. There are 3 pools to enjoy in summer months, (so you can usually have a pool to yourself) and a relaxing private patio with outdoor lounge seating, gate, and 2 bikes for your use. Heather Farms gardens are a 3 minute drive, 20 minute walk to the east, with rose gardens blooming in spring, a koi lake and fountain, fish and turtle pond, bridges, multi-age playground, tennis courts, olympic pool, and grassed and shaded bbq/picnic areas. Hiking trails abound along Homestead Ave and Marshall Drive/Shell Ridge open space is nearby.

PETS/SMOKING: No pets and no smoking.
CLEANING: Please leave the place as you find it; we will be doing the same for you.
BIKES: May be used; Please lock (locks provided) when out and about. One ladies cruiser. One kids' (9 - 14 yrs adjustable).
CAR: Dedicated undercover parking space available for local exchanges. Car exchange may be negotiated for out of state/international exchanges. Volvo C70 convertible, seats 4. Insurance will be needed.
SLEEPING: 1 bedroom with queen Tempur-pedic bed. Modular Living-room couches can comfortably sleep another 2, so a family of 4 can get-away.
ELECTRONICS: Wii U game system, TV and DVD/BluRay player, basic cable, music channels, and Netfix movie account available. Redbox DVD rental box is 4 mins drive/ 15 mins bike ride away. A few DVDs at the apartment are available to use. Several family board games and card games are available, please leave intact. Kid-friendly apartment.
