Description of the home we are offering for exchange

This cabin is located in Tahoe City, California at Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Mountains. The lake is located half in California and half in Nevada. The cabin location is on Tahoe?s famous West Shore in the Sunny Side Area. The cabin is approx. 200 U.S. miles (325 KM) form San Francisco, CA and is the second largest lake in the world above 5,000 ft. The lake is 22 miles long and12 miles wide and had 72 miles of shoreline. There a lot of fun things to do at the lake such as hiking, biking, sight seeing, horseback riding and boating. You can take rides on sight seeing boats, rent power boats or jet skis or go waterskiing. In the winter there many ski areas The cabin is approximately 200 U.S. miles (325 KM) form San Francisco, CA. around the lake such as Squaw Valley which was home of the eighth winter Olympics in 1960. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing area are also nearby.
