My neighborhood is a mix of organic vineyards and homes in the hills above the Valley of the Moon, about 3 miles from downtown Sonoma. About 1/2 mile away, guests can pay for a reasonable day use at a local pool/gym with water from the springs (Agua Caliente) that heats the indoor pool, Olympic size pool and large hot tub. This historic area was settled in the 1800's by the Spanish.
Deer, fox, and other wildlife wander through the neighborhood and try to avoid the residents.
Several restaurants and a coffee shop, as well as post office are about 1/2 mile away, as is the luxury Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn spa, which guests can pay a day use fee or for spa services. There are golf courses in Sonoma County, some of which are open to the public.
