Description of the home we are offering for exchange
My cottage is a two-bedroom / 2-bath 1 level home with a private front garden and outdoor seating. Beyond the primary bedroom (king-size bed) with en suite, there is a main living space open to a full kitchen and dining area. The 2nd bedroom is the guest room / library with television and it opens to the garden. The cottage is walking distance to downtown and the train station. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and hiking trails. San Luis Obispo is the heart of California's Central Coast: Very close by are beaches, wineries, hiking trails, a quaint downtown, a world-class performing arts center, cinemas, and lovely food and drink establishments. A 90 minute drive to Big Sur (north) and Santa Barbara (south)!

San Luis Obispo is 6 miles from beaches and coastal towns, an hour's drive to Heart Castle, and 2 hours drive Santa Barbara (south) and to the Big Sur Coastline (north). Hiking trails and the downtown are minutes way. San Luis Obispo features a world-class performing arts center, free summertime outdoor musical concerts, golfing, cinemas, and gourmet restaurants, and lovely cafes. Thursday evenings is a large Farmer's Market downtown.
