Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We have one neighbor, who are great friends and great people. There are no other homes around. Our other neighbors are the largest population of endangered Hawaiian Stilts and Koloa ducks in the world. We live adjacent to a national wildlife refuge. We are close to everything and yet very quiet and we see the Milky Way, satellites, etc. We have a large garden which is active year round, along with mango, papaya, lemon, lime, grapefruit, avocado and tangerine trees.

This is Kauai. One of the most beautiful islands in the world, and the weather is great year round. There is a reason this is called paradise. The beaches are the main attraction, along with fantastic hiking. We give our exchangers an extensive list of the best hikes, beaches, and restaurants, along with any authentic cultural events going on during their visit. All of this is updated for their visit to provide current information.
