Setting
Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Leadville is a town with many old and Victorian era homes. It is not a fancy resort town, but full of character and history, mostly revolving around the gold and silver mining days of the late 1800s. The National Mining Museum is two blocks away, and restaurants and shops are a 10 minute walk from the house. Most people like to drive up to see the remnants of the old mines just outside of town. People are very friendly in Leadville.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The National Mining Museum is two blocks away, and remnants of many of the old mines from the 1800s are a short drive from the house. Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, and the Arkansas River are close by for good fishing. Hiking in the mountains is the favorite of many and can keep you going with every day on a new trail.
