We live less than a mile from a wide, clean, pristine beach. Whales and dolphins can often be seen from the shore. As you walk to the beach, stop at any number of cafes and boutiques, and enjoy Hermosa's lively bar, music and dining scene at night. Take a sunset bike ride or stroll on the Strand, a wide boardwalk that runs parallel to the beach, great for people watching and stunning views of the Pacific. Paddle out into the waves in a kayak or stand-up paddle board, take a surfing or volleyball lesson, or just relax on the sand. For children, local parks abound, and there are no less than 3 aquariums in the area. Disneyland, Disney Adventure, Universal Studios are all nearby, and all the art, music and excitement Los Angeles and Hollywood have to offer are just a short drive away. San Diego Zoo, Sea World and the city of San Diego itself are 2.5 hours away, and great wine tasting in the Santa Ynez Valley just an hour away. Truly we are blessed to live here. You'll never want to leave.
