We're a fun loving family who love to travel - me - Denise and my two children Emma (22) and Trevor (18). Emma is a Senior in college at CU Boulder and Trevor recently graduated HS and still trying to figure out where he wants to spend the next several years. I have been a Realtor for the past 16 years and have my business set up where I can have my colleague take care of things for me while I travel. My home is an adorable 3 bedroom ranch walking distance to University of New Hampshire, downtown Durham and lots of trails. It's about 1 hour to Boston, Portland and the Lakes and Mountain regions of NH and only 20 minutes to Portsmouth and the beaches. I'm open to most anything!

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Three bedroom, 2 bath home completely renovated with modern amenities walking distance to University of New Hampshire, downtown Durham and numerous parks and trails. We are only 1 hour to Boston, Portland, Lakes and Mountain regions and 20 minutes to Portsmouth, NH and beaches. The home has a open feel with large picture windows to let in lots of light. The front of the house is south facing with open kitchen dining area and family room. There are three bedrooms each with queen beds down the hall and the master has it's own en-suite with tiled shower and washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a one car garage with plenty of parking in the driveway. Durham is a university town with a nice assortment of restaurants, coffee shops and grocery shopping 5 minutes from the house. There are many several small towns like Exeter, Dover, and Newmarket just minutes away that each offer a unique feel.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
I live in the Faculty Neighborhood of Durham. An easy walk to the campus and downtown. The neighborhood was first established in the 1940/50s with many of the homes of that era. Initially it was for professors only but in the 1970s that changed and anyone can live in the neighborhood. My home was built in 1951 but kitchen and bathrooms were completely renovated in 2014.

I like to keep a neat house and have a cleaning person come every other week. The kitchen looks brand new as I keep the counters and cabinets wiped down and don't let things build up. My kids might call me a neat freak, but I don't consider myself one to the extreme - I just like a neat house and it to feel fresh and clean when I walk in.
