Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We live in a large house in a little village. The region is called "Hohenlohe". It is a part of Baden Württemberg - a state in the south of Germany. Hohenlohe is famous for its castles and the pretty nature.
We have 5 sleeping rooms, 2 bathrooms. Our four children are all adults and they do not live anylmore in our house.
Our house is on the outskirts of the village Spielbach. The village has 200 inhabitants.There is no supermarket in the village, so to buy food anything else you will need a car. Car Exchange is offered/negotiable

The people of Spielbach are very friendly. If you need help you will easily find someone who helps you. In Spielbach is a famous inn.It is in an old house which was built in Jahr? ..until today, the house and the interior look as looked a restaurant 200 years ago. the food is delicious and the inn is famous for the beer. people come from over 50 or miles to eat and drink beer. All food is housemade.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
in the surrounding of Spielbach there a many mediaval towns, The best known is the famous Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Rothenburg is only 6 miles away. Würzburg, Nuremberg, Dinkelsbühl and Nördlingen are other famous medieval towns that can be reached in around 1 to one and a half hours by car. At less than 20 miles away from Spielbach are also some of the most pretty castles of the house of Hohenlohe, an old German pincely dynasty.
If you are planning a day trip, famous cities like Heidelberg or Munich can be reached in 2 to 3 hours.
From our house you can go with the bike (we have also an e-bike) along the famous romantic road, which is said to posess quintessentially German culture and scenery. There are possibilities to hike, to kayak on the rivers Kocher and Jagst and carriage riding tours are offered in the medieval city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
