Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are looking for an exchange for this summer (29.6.-18.7.2020), somewhere green and sunny would be great, especially nice would be something next to the sea. We can also exchange during (10.10. - 24.10.). For this years Easter holidays we have plans already, we could only offer our flat during the first week (6.-13.4.2020) in a non simultanious exchange.
We live in a big flat (117 square meters, 5 rooms) right in the middle of Berlin, next to the former border. Sightseeing places about "the wall" are in walking distance, the "Mauerpark" with a big flee market on Sundays (with the famous karaoke show!) is just over the street, Alexanderplatz, which is the center of the former east Berlin is just three tube stations away, the Brandenburger Tor also. Tram and bus are directly in front of our house, two tube stations are 5 minutes walk away. You are right in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg, Mitte and Wedding.
Since we have three children the flat is well equipped with toys and we have baby equipment like a highchair, travelling baby bed etc. We have bicycles for three adults and two children and a trailer (which can be used as a pushchair/jogger) for a baby/little one and you are welcome to use them.
We are experienced exchangers and like the idea of getting in touch with people, already met great people by exchanging flats. We will do all we can so you have a good time in our place and will take good care of your home!

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Unsere Nachbarschaft ist sehr lebendig, es gibt viele Cafés, Restaurants, Geschäfte, zwei Flohmärkte an Sonntagen in unmittelbarer Nähe und viele historische Plätze direkt nebenan, wie das Mauermuseum und die zentrale Mauergedenkstätte. Wer Ruhe sucht ist bei uns leider falsch :) Dafür gibt es aber viel zu sehen und zu erleben mitten in Berlin. Und wir haben viele Tipps für Aktivitäten mit Kindern! Wer im Sommer Erfrischung sucht, findet sie auf vielen Wasserspielplätzen in der Umgebung, außerdem gibt es nicht weit entfernt Schwimmbäder (Humboldthain, Monbijou-Bad) und Stadt-Seen (Plötzensee, Weißensee), in denen man baden kann.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Around our house are lots of cafés, restaurants, shops, the Mauerpark with its famous flee market on Sundays, there is a cinema in walking distance, plenty of playgrounds and lots to do with kids. Since we live right next to where the wall was there is a wall museum in walking distance and you can walk along the former border and get lots of information there.

See underneath - we had only good experiences with exchange so far, so I think there is no need to have proper "rules". We have a guinnea pig called Paula and would be grateful if you could feed it while here. (It's a non-smoker-flat - but if you want to smoke you can do so on the balcony.)
