Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
The apartment (117m²) is in the 4th floor of a new and pretty nice 6-floor-building in the center of Berlin: The "Bergmannkiez" is a district of Kreuzberg. Though located in citycenter, the house itself, the small street in front of it and the surrounding are very calm. We got friendly neighbors (mostly families), an elevator and a garden behind the house whose athmosphere you can also enjoy from the balcony. (You´ll have a nice view on „The Himmel of Berlin“ and on the historical buildings of the former airport Tempelhof.) The "Bergmannkiez" is one oft he most famous living areas of Berlin with plenty of restaurants, bars, bakeries and little shops. Bus-, railway- and tubestations are very close to he house so you can reach sites like Checkpoint Charly, Unter den Linden, Brandenburger Tor or various urban parks within a few minutes. Nevertheless we recommend to discover Berlin starting from the apartment by bycicles – you can rent them just arround the corner.
