Stockholm is one of the most beautiful summer cities you can imagine. The city is surrounded by clean water and offers plenty places to go swimming or just hang out in green areas, cafés and bars. in the city of Stockholm you can go shopping - with everything from smal boutiques, brands, malls like the newly renovated Gallerian (gallerian.se) or high-end NK department store (from 1902) - nk.se.

The main shopping area is only 15 minutes away by subway. You don't need a car to get around in Stockholm - walking is very appreciatated and the Swedes use buses, trams, bikes and subway to get around. There are also e-scooters to rent, as well as e-bikes - frequently placed around the city. If you like culture you can find everything in Stockholm - there is the historic Royal Opera house (operan.se) founded in 1773 and the national theatre stage Dramaten - Dramaten.se.

You can go and see movies in movie theatres around the city - but we would like to suggest our local movie theatre and restaurant Studio | Indio (indio.se) where you can bring in your own food and drink, sit in cosy sofas and enjoy the film of your choice.

In the summer, many artists come to Stockholm and there are several concert locations where you can enjoy music. Often, local restaurants and cafés have artists come and play - such as lasseiparken.se, just down the street from us.

Do not forget to visit the Old Town of Stockholm with it's many cafés, bars and restaurants, beautiful small shops, narrow alleys and famous ice-cream bars.

In the summer we like to take the boat (you can use your public transportation card) from the south side of Stockholm to the big green area Djurgården. There you find our popular amusement park Gröna Lund (gronalund.com) and the world's oldest open air museum and zoo Skansen (Skansen.se. Here you also find the ABBA-museum (ABBATheMuseum.com). You can spend 2-3 days just exploring everything Djurgården has to offer :)

If you are interested in World Heritages - you should not miss the chance to take the boat to the Viking settlement Birka (birkavikingastaden.se) or the beautiful Drottningholm castle (Drottningholm.se), where you might be able to secure a ticket to the historic castle theatre (dtm.se).

We live in one of the most popular parts of the city, where it's close to go everywhere you want and where you can be happy just hanging around, enjoying the surroundings.
