Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Haggen is our country retreat in southern Dalarna (Dalecarlia). The house is overlooking the lake and for swimming, fishing or boating we have our private jetty. It's really rural, nothing but a number of houses between the woods and the lake. We have friendly neighbors but you will hardly see them. You're welcome to use our boat (rowing) and two kayaks. There are life wests. Lots of space for kids to play. Very calm and quiet -no through traffic. In season you can pick berries and mushrooms in the woods. A golf course across the lake.
The house has four bedrooms, one master and three with bunk beds, so 8 beds in total. One bathroom with shower. The kitchen is small but functional. A ceramic cooktop, a combined micro and fan oven, a fridge with small freezer and a dishwasher. Basic foods like sugar, flour, oil and spices are there to use. The living room has a fire place and TV. WiFi. There is an inside dining table for 8-10 and an outside one for up to 8. There is also a coal fired BBQ.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
In about one hours drive you can reach the town of Falun which is a World Heritage Site with old buildings and the largest copper mine in the world in the 1600 hundreds. It's been in use up to our days. Guided tours available. https://www.falugruva.se
Close by you can visit Sundborn where one of Swedens best known painters and his wife begin 1900 created a new interior design that still influences us today. http://www.carllarsson.se/en/ There was a big exposition at Victoria and Albert Museum in London a few years ago but here you can visit the original home.
