Description of the home we are offering for exchange
A large airy family home in the beautiful Ribble Valley in northern England. The conversion of the property has resulted in a building with many original beams but with all modern conveniences. Downstairs is a large sitting room, dining room and kitchen with a separate utility area in the integral garage. Upstairs has two double bedrooms, one with ensuite facilities, a twin bedroom, study, bathroom and large shower room.There is a large adjacent garden with vegetable plot, patio, bbq and magnificent views of Pendle Hill. Grindleton is on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District,as well as the metropolises of Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds, with all their cultural activities.

A quiet friendly village in a beautiful location with church and pub and a vibrant Community Centre with sportsground and childrens' playpark. The nearby village of Chatburn, 3/4 mile away, has a small general shop cum Post Office,also selling alcohol and newspapers and a renowned butchers.There are many beautiful walks right from the door..

Three miles away is the market town of Clitheroe with its Norman castle and adjacent museum..There is a full range of individual shops and supermarkets, as well as cafes, pubs and wine bars, a theatre and a leisure complex. The Ribble Valleis a well-known 'foodie' destination and there is a plethora of award-winning country hotels and pubs in the district, as well as historic homes and abbeys. The Forest of Bowland is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are within easy reach, as is the Lancashire coast and the great cities of Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.
