Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is a comfortable 3 bedroomed house with very nice garden and patio areas, close to local amenities. Quiet cul de sac, no through traffic. Bus service goes along the road at end of our road - to Warwick or Leamington town centres, or its a 20/25 min walk to Warwick centre ( so we are close enough to the many restaurant etc outlets for free Takeaway delivery!!) Initially (2020),we are looking for an exchange, preferably near the coast, in either Wales or England. We are experienced swappers and have exchanged homes in the UK, Europe and "down under" over the past 20 years.
NB We are also interested in arranging an exchange towards the end of this year/early next year, in both New Zealand and Australia(Sydney) to visit relatives and friends and would be very pleased to discuss any possibilities with you.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbourhood is a quiet, friendly residential area, with a local shop/ Post office that can be reached by a 6/7min walk through a pleasant wood/spinney and is close to our community centre - an active hub for open Tai Chi/ fitness etc classes. A garage + M&S food store is a 6 min walk in the other direction - a few mins further is an entry to the canal towpath. Nice walks in both directions along this canal (Grand Union). Our local good beer pubs are Wild Boar( has a film club), towards town and Cape of Good Hope along canal (good food, great setting on canal and sometime live music.)

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Warwick is a historic town. The famous Castle has now opened up all outside areas and tower (June 2020) and reintroduced outside features eg :falconry. St Marys church and the Lord Leycester hospital ( setting of a Dr Who episode amongst others) and garden are well worth visits. A hidden gem, a short walk from us, is Guys Cliffe House, with a fascinating history on banks of the river Avon. The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club is a 5 min drive away where there is a very nice 5km walk.
Warwick Racecourse is quite central and encompasses a public golf course. Market day is Saturday plus other events eg : Foodie/Thai fairs/Folk festivals, as and when in Market square.
Kenilworth, Coventry and Stratford on Avon are close by with a variety of history and interest. The Cotswolds start about a 30min drive away with many lovely walks and villages. In the same southerly direction is Compton Verney, lovely Capability Brown grounds, river and Art galleries. There are several good National Trust properties in this area.
Warwick Station provides a 25 min journey to Birmingham one way and London 1hr 30mins in the other.
