Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
The Spinney is set in a village with a pub and church, 5 miles from the picturesque and historic town of Nantwich.
Nantwich is a market town with black & white Tudor buildings dating from 16th century. It has lovely shops,restaurants and pubs. The town hosts a range of festivals through out the year including The Battle of Nantwich re-enactment, Food and Drink Festival, Folk Festival, Jazz and Blues Festival and Nantwich show (which has the largest cheese tent in Europe!) There are many tourist activites within the immediate area, and Manchester and Liverpool are easily accessible by road or train.
Chester City is 18 miles away and is the county town of Cheshire and has its roots in Roman times with well preserved city walls and amphetheatre to name but a few.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our home is 5 minutes walking distance to the pub The Badger and has won awards for its food. They even do take out fish and Chips! There are lovely walks from the house along the canal and through the woods. The house is situated away from the road and is very quiet. Yet 10 minutes drive away is Crewe Station from where you can get to any part of Great Britain - London is 2 hours away. Manchester and Liverpool are an hours journey away.
Our home has open log fires to snuggle up to after your days adventures.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
We are a few minutes walk away from a lovely country pub and there are great walks from the house. further away is the town of Nantwich - http://www.nantwichtowncouncil.gov.uk/ . A 40 minute car journey takes you to Chester - http://www.visitchester.com/ where there is a race course, world renowned zoo park, fantastic shopping and a beautiful cathedral. Liverpool city is a 45 minute train journey away - http://www.visitliverpool.com/ and Manchester is the same -http://www.visitmanchester.com/ . There are of course the 4 famous football clubs!! But many theatres and restaurants, museums and country parks.
