We visited Dundee a couple of times and particularly enjoyed the V and A, the history of jute making at The Verdant Works, the Beano statues and a walk beside The Tay. We had lovely coastal walks both North and South of the Tay, little fishing harbours, long beaches, coves...a great mixture. Thankyou Willie and Ann for making our trip possible and so comfortable. Read More...Inchture is an excellent location from which to visit a beautiful and fascinating part of Scotland. We had a packed week, taking in a range of places including Dundee, Perth, Glamis, St Andrews, Arbroath and Glen Clova (for a beautiful walk in the Cairngorms). There is also plenty to do without going to far, as there is lots to see in Dundee and around. The museums, including the RRS Discovery and the V&A have lots to offer. We visited the castle at Broughty ferry, and ate fish and chips with an amazing view of the Tay. The beaches and forest at Tentsmuir, are also lovely. There are a couple of local antiques centres with good cafes too. We also spent a lovely day at Edinburgh zoo, which is less than an hour's drive. Thank-you to Willie and Ann for looking after our cat Millie so well. I highly recommend this exchange.
