Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Semi detached house that is located at the outskirts of Valencia, in Masssalfassar, a village of two thousand inhabitants where peace and rest are guaranteed; It is quite easy to arrive in the center of Valencia by means of a car or rather by train. It takes no more than 20 minutes. It is very close to the beach, only a few minutes by car.
The house takes part of a housing complex with gardens, playgrounds for childen and a covered swimming-pool in winter that is uncovered as good temperatures come (summer). There exists a gym, as well, close to the swimming-pool.
Regarding the house, it has got two courtyards where having supper in summer is awesome; The first one is at the front of the house (main entrance) and the second one is at the back, of about 30 m2. As you enter the house, you find a big living-room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Going upstairs there are a couple of bedrooms and an office, as well as two bathrooms. The house is very comfortable and easy to manage

Neighbourhood

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

We live in a housing complex in a very quiet village, Massalfassar, 13 kms far from Valencia. The complex is quite peaceful and neighbours usually get on alright. In summer, the main activities are focused on the swimming pool, I mean, it is the place where you find friends or children join together to play.
Regarding the rest of the village, there are no high buildings and its is easy to find places to have dinner or supper in summer, mainly at the the beginning of august when local feasts take place. In this moment there are plenty of activities for children and the rest of the family.
It is quite easy to ride the bikes over here because there are plenty of bike tracks across the splendid valencian orange trees and crops. Valencia is quite reachable by bike from here and it is an awesome ride.
Not exactly in the village but very close to it, you will find a shopping center (Carrefour as well as other shopping centers nearby) in which you can get all the supplies you need.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

In the village, all basic services can be found. Medical care is available at the village, as well as a pharmacy,a mechanic workshop, a supermarket, a couple of bakeries,pubs, restaurants, ,playgrounds for children, a public swimming-pool and so on and so forth; In the villages nearby there are a lot of supermarkets and all sorts of shops.We live very close to Valencia where all kind of activities can be found: cultural, gastronomic, sports, leisure activities .....We are quite close to the beach, only 2 kms far, and not too far to delightful coastal cities such as Denia and Jávea in Alicante, and Peñíscola in Castellón.
Mountains are also very close: Sierra Calderona (4 kms away) and Sierra de Espadan (20 kms away). we are only 10 kms away to the historical city of Sagunto where its famous roman theater can be visited, as well the arqueological museum
The Monastery of la Cartuja and Santa María del Puig are worth visiting.

please, leave the house as clean as you found it. You will find all the stuff you need easily
Neighborhood´s rules:
It is forbidden to let pets run freely;
All neighbours are requested to respect rest time (from 15:00 h to 17:00 h and from 22:00 to 09:00 h)
Please, don´t play football in the lobbies
Please, don´t leave rubbish, furniture and so on in the neighbourhood.
Toss the litter in the dustbin at night.
Each neighbour will be responsible for their guests´behavoiour usinf the facilities of the neighbourhood.
Smoke is strictly forbidden in the swimming pool, lifts etc
