We are a retired couple in our late sixties and we have one daughter Nancy who lives in Eastbourne with us. We spend six months of the year in our villa in Spain and we travel extensively around the world. We are outgoing and enjoy life to the full. We like cycling, walking, skiing and golf. We partake in lots of cultural activities, especially the theatre and music. We have been house swapping for 18 years and have enjoyed it immensely.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Spacious modern Villa with mountain views close to the beach with private swimming pool and extensive gardens. The house is on three levels each room has double french doors leading onto a patio with south facing uninterupted views of the mountains and glimpses of the Med. The living room room opens up to large patio which leads through arches to a very large salt water swimming pool - views from the pool are spectacular. There is a large pool cabanya with seating and and table for eating. There is a built-in barbeque. There are 5 different seating. Three different eating areas. The living room is open plan and there is a separate TV Family room which opens onto a lovely garden. All bedrooms are large and well furnished. There is a separate utility room.

Tranquil area with panoramic mountain views. Terrace to private swimming pool & gardens. 5 km to beach, shops, local tapas bars & restaurants. Walking & hiking on the doorstep, golf 5 km. Palamos is a traditional fishing town where you can buy the fresh catch each day. Lots of medieval and traditional villages in the area. Major cultural activities in Barcelona, Figueres (Dali) & Girona.

We would like the garden and plant pots watered and the house and pool area/patios to be left clean and tidy. Awnings and umbrellas put down of an evening. No sitting on couches with wet swimming suits.
