Our three week exchange to southern Spain was so much more than we had anticipated. The Tews’ villa was very large and beautiful, spotlessly clean with a very private pool. Not one, but three decks, one overlooking the Mediterranean. The location was wonderful – a 5 minute drive to the beach or train station, and so many “white towns” and historic sites we could explore as day trips. Tapa bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, but with such a well-appointed kitchen we preferred to spend our evenings at home. We had such an amazing time – thanks you Joanna and Chris for making us feel so welcome and well cared for. JO-ANNE AND DOUG PRESTON CA52060

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday in Joanna’s beautiful Spanish villa. The house was amazing, spacious and well equipped with a great pool and lots of lovely terrace areas to relax and dine in. The location is ideal, it’s in a nice quiet residential area within 5 mins walk to restaurants and a large supermarket and pharmacy, Bus stop to the beach, the old town and Mijas is 5 mins walk. Thank you Joanna for exchanging with us and allowing us the privilege of staying in your lovely home.

Joanna and Chris have a wonderful villa with a pool and a small view of the Mediterranean. It is large and comfortable with space for several people. The location is perfect, near a major coastal highway, and not far from stores and the quaint Benalmedina Pueblo (home to several good restaurants). Communication with Chris and Joanna was vey good as they answered questions quickly. This exchange was originally planned for spring 2020 and was postponed 3 times. So glad we both hung in there to make this exchange happen.

The villa is big. It has five bedrooms and four baths. It has a pool, but we were there in February so we did not use it. Everything about the villa was as described on Homelink. Joanna was flexible and easy to work with. We used the villa as a base of operations and made side trips to Granada, Gibraltar, Tangier, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, Tarifa and Mijas. All of these are about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive. I would strongly recommend the villa and its location. Thank you Joanna for a good trade.

The location made it easy to explore the area - so many fascinating sites within a couple hours drive. A fantastic experience - we really didn't want to leave!
