Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Cozy and comfortable. Clean and sunny apartment. Located in a privileged area of the city, 5 min walk from: Plaza Cataluña, Las Ramblas, Paseo de gracia, Catedral. Carrefour supermarket just below the apartment. Modernist building located in front of the Palace of Catalan Music and the Casa de la Seda. Metro station 2' walk.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
EL BORN: Between the Gothic Quarter and the Ciutadella Park. One of Barcelona‘s trendiest and popular neighborhoods. Oldest buildings in the city and historic areas but also one of its liveliest. Famous for its bo-ho feel and artistic edge as well as its great tapas bars and trendy bistros!
Passeig del Born leads you to the heart of the neighborhood. There are a number of small workshops, designer studios, and independent boutiques all along the backstreets, such as the Carrer del Flassaders or the Carrer de l’Esparteria. As you look out the window of our apartment, you will find one of Barcelona's most impressive modernist wonders, the Palau de la Música Catalana, as impressive on the outside as it is on the inside, designed by the Catalan architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner.
