We had a lovely time in your spacious house.Thank you for the nice cake you left for us!It was much bigger than it looks on your pictures. We enjoyed the Spanish landscape, we had beautifiul walks in the mountains , in the shadow(!), off Mont Ral near Alcover, to the waterfall "la Glorietta". We visited some Jujol spots and enjoyed a lot the swimming pool in Snta Coloma. The atmosphere was really cosy ,very Spanish! Thanks also for the (garden )gifts off your parents,the walks with Lluna your funny dog and every day fresh eggs from the chicken. The last weekend we visited the dance festival in Les Piles which was very nice. You can visit as much as you like or have a nice stay around the house everything is there for a super nice holiday! We had a wonderful time here! Thank you so much. The house was really well positioned, well equipped & the garden was beautifully shady with lots of lovely features (tree house, trampoline, outside kitchen). Their parents lives in the neighbouring garden & gave us amazing vegetables daily. The town is 5 mins' walk away with a wonderful market & great shops. Beautiful countryside is just outside the front door. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local villages, all of which had amazing outdoor public pools - perfect! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here & we also loved looking after their animals!

We had a wonderful time in Santa Coloma de Queralt. The house is very spacious and the children discovered new toys every day (when you know we stayed for 2 weeks, you can imagine the rest ;-)) The garden is very green with fresh vegetables offered by their parents in law, very nice and friendly people! Sometimes, it was difficult to convince our oldest boy to leave on a trip when he was enjoying his time in the tree house ;-). The town is very cozy and well preserved. Also the nearby villages are very authentic and typical for the area. If you like cities, you have to go and visit Tarragona. What a wonderful city! You have an old city center and a very modern part as well. The city is touristic but without having the feeling you are surrounded by tourists. We have visited the Amphitheatre, the beach, the cathedral, the harbor,... . We also went some days to Barcelona. The city is beautiful but for us it was too crowded: you had to book everything in advance (several days) so we did not see the Sagrada Familia inside nor the paid part of Park Guëll. That was a pity. However, the region is beautiful enough to spend 2 weeks time without having to go to Barcelona. We visited nearby caves and the monastery of Santa Creus. Both worth a visit! Beaches at 45min - 1h, nice weather,... In short: all you need for a splendid and relaxing holiday. Lluna, the dog is very enthusiastic but also listens well to orders (she is well trained): she really is a very nice dog. The cat was mostly lying in the sun on the table outside and we had eggs from the 3 chickens almost every day! Certainly a region we would go back to! The house of family Comaposada was a perfect base to explore catalonia. We liked the house very much - it was clean and comfortable, had lots of space and is situated in the nice small town Santa Coloma de Queralt. The excursions we did: beach (about 45 min.) near Tarragona, Barcelona, Montserrat monastery, Tarragona, Santes Creus monastery, ... The exchange was great, totally recommendable!
