Description of the home we are offering for exchange
House (from the 1920s) with garden and lake view 20 minutes from Zurich in a quiet area of the so-called Gold Coast. Public transport, a bakery with coffeeshop shop and a small supermarket are within walking distance. Good as a base to explore Europe.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Very nice garden, nevertheless in the centre of the village. Well suited for children, but we have an unsecured small pond, a slackline and a big trampoline. A small forest and lake are within walking distance. We have a cat.
The train station with trains every 15 minutes to the centre of Zurich is within 10 minutes walking distance. Many cultural activities are available in Zurich
The house is from the 1920s and has been renovated. Nevertheless it is an old house and has for example a very small bathroom and no full laundry room, also the wooden floors creak.
FYI: Untill October 2019 we are already booked.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Many tourist and cultural attractions in and around Zurich. In winter, day trips can be made to the ski areas. In summer there are many bathing possibilities at the lake. Stand up paddling boards can be rented.
Since Zurich is situated in the heart of Europe, the place also offers the opportunity to discover Europe by Interrail.

Absolutely no parties, no drugs. We have a cat, which unfortunately is not used to other animals. She tolerates small dogs as long as she is left alone though.
It is a wooden house, therefore no candles indoors (a closed Sweden stove is present).
Please leave the house as you found it. Housecleaning is available on request and extra charge.
