Our home is a small suburban house, built about 100 years ago as a timber frame house, of which the beams can be seen from the inside. It has been enlargened twice, most recently in the 90s which added a big open living space in the ground floor, with loads of windows, which makes it flooded by light when the sun is out. And even on rainy days you feel like you are outside, with views of the garden all around.

Downstairs there is a open living room with a separate dining area and an open kitchen, as well as the master bedroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms and a big bathroom with a built in sauna and a restroom with a bathtub and a heated louger leading out to a french balcony with a view over the back yard. There is a basement, where my desk, the washing machine and the wine cellar are to be found.
