We are a family of three and we all love travelling, exploring new places and their attractions, skiing and spending time with family and friends. We have been enjoying the fun of home exchanging for sometime now. So far we have enjoyed four wonderful exchanges with some lovely people and are looking forward to many more.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Herzlich willkommen in unserem ruhigen und modernen Reihenendhaus.
Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen offenen Wohn-/Essbereich mit voll ausgestatteter Küche sowie eine Gästetoilette. Im ersten Stock befindet sich das Elternschlafzimmer (großes Doppelbett 211 x 200 cm), ein Ankleidezimmer, ein Bad mit großer Dusche und eine separate Toilette. Im Dachgeschoss ist ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett (160 x 200 cm) mit angrenzendem Wohn-/Arbeitszimmer mit einem bequemen Schlafsessel (100 x 200 cm) sowie ein weiteres Badezimmer mit Badewanne.
Wir haben zwei Terrassen: eine auf der Nordostseite des Hauses mit Schatten für heiße Sommertage und eine auf der Südwestseite, wo wir gerne in der Sonne sitzen.
Im ganzen Haus gibt es WLAN und auch einen Laptop.
Our house (160 m2) is located in a quiet estate of terraced houses and well served by public transportation. The tram stop and several shops are in 5 min. walking distance.
Our home has a spacious open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen and a toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there is the big master bedroom (super king size bed - 211 x 200 cm), an adjacent dressing room, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. In the attic you will find another bedroom (queen size bed - 160 x 200 cm) , a study with a comfortable sofa-sleeper (100 x 200 cm) and a bathroom with tub.
We have got two terraces: The one on the northeast side we love to use on hot summer days and in spring and autumn we prefer the southwest sundeck.
A wireless network provides high speed internet access throughout the house and a laptop will be available for your use if needed.

Unser Haus liegt in einer kleinen Gemeinde (16.000 Einwohner) in der Nähe von Karlsruhe (Baden-Württemberg). Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle erreichen Sie bequem in 5 Minuten und sind in 15 Minuten in der Innenstadt von Karlsruhe, eine Stadt im Südwesten von Deutschland. Karlsruhe hat sehr viel zu bieten: nicht nur Kunst und Kultur, sondern ist auch eine sehr grüne Stadt mit gutem Wetter und viel Sonnenschein.
Der einzigartige Fächergrundriss, die höchsten Gerichte Deutschlands sowie zahlreiche kleine Denkmäler, Brunnen und Plätze machen Karlsruhe unverwechselbar. Eine wirkliche Besonderheit: fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man bequem zu Fuß.
Our home is located in a small town near Karlsruhe (in Baden-Württemberg), a city in the southwest of Germany. Karlsruhe has much to offer in the way of art and culture, along with lots of greenery and warm, sunny weather.
The unique fan-shaped layout, the numerous monuments and museums, fountains and plazas with beer gardens and street cafés all make Karlsruhe a city like no other. Nearly all of the local attractions in the city can be comfortably reached on foot.
