Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Our apartment is placed in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg. It is in the basement with direct exit to the court of our house, where there is room to sit outside. There is also a sandbox and room to play for children. The central room of the apartment is the big kitchen, a former bakery, which offers lots of space for cooking, eating and spending time together, an upper level serves as living room. We live in a house with very nice neighbours where you will always find someone to talk, help, play table tennis or have a drink in the court.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

Our neighbourhood is a Berlin-typical, very charming multi-cultural environment with lots of bars, restaurants and shopping possibilities. It is very well connected by public transport and you can reach all important sights within about half an hour. For children you will find playgrounds and parks nearby, for youngsters and adults there is a variety of Cafés, bars and clubs and for everybody who enjoys good food there are many restaurants within walking distance. Although the neighbourhood is very vital, our building is placed in a quiet part of a nice street, so you can enjoy being at home peacefully while everything is just a minute away.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules

We will take good care of your home and are happy if you do so as well. We don't smoke inside, but there is a nice courtyard where you even might find smoking company. Outside the kitchen you can sit and eat or drink or just chat with someone. You can use our bicycles if you take good care of them and always lock them to something so they don't get carried away. If you water our plants from time to time that would be great. Children are most welcome!
