Thank you to Jean-Paul and Marie-Andree for an excellent swap. Embrun was everything that we hoped for and more, an ideal location from which to enjoy spectacular cycling and walking. We very much appreciated the 'highlights' suggestions that were left for us, and managed to cover most of them. The many maps and walking guides enabled us to enjoy excellent walks in the Ecrins National Park and the Queyras. With the weather being so hot and sunny, le Plan d'Eau in Embrun became a regular visit, either at the end of a day out, or sometimes a half-day in itself. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped - it quickly became 'home from home'. We very much appreciated Jean-Paul and Marie Andree going out of their way to help, especially getting a bike carrier to enable our son to bring his bike with him. He very much made the most of that. Thank you again and best wishes for future swaps.

We had a great time in this little flat laid out on two floors with three small bedrooms downstairs and a sunny living/dining room upstairs. It is ideally situated on a hillside facing South and gives easy access for all kinds of water sports on Lake Serre Ponçon and hikes in the vicinity of the lake and into the Queyras and Parc des Ecrins.

Very good apartment. Superb location in the middle of the French Haute-Alpes. We were travelling by car and it was very comfortable that they had their own parking place in the apartment garage which we could use during our stay. Lot of things to see in the area. We would certainly recommend an exchanges with Jean-Paul and Marie-Andree.

Nous avons bien reussi cet échange à Embrun dans les Hautes Alpes. Paysages merveilleux très calmes tous offrant concerts dans les vieilles églises, fetes, petit marchés, visites guidées...en plus le tour de France! nous avon passé 3 semaines et nous étions toujours occupés. En plus nous avons bien profité pour nous promener soit en montagne ( glaciers magnifiques) soit au lac de Serre Ponçon juste au bord de la ville. La maison était parfaite, bien placée pour nous rendre à pied dans la ville et au supermarché. Un grand merci à Marie Andrée et Jean Paul qui nous ont accueilli comme des amis.

We spent 3 wonderful weeks in Embrun! The area is perfect for hiking, swimming and all type of outdoor activities. Embrun is a very charming town, local food and wines are very tasty. The mountains are gorgeous. Marie-Andree and Jean-Paul gave us a very warm welcome in their home and left lots of useful information about the area for us. Many thanks. Merci beaucoup, a bientôt.
