Simon and Merete, both in our 60's. We have so far done 18 exchanges and love this way of holiday. Children grown up and left the nest so we enjoy travelling and experiencing new counries and cultures. If the possibility occurs we like to invite children and grandchildren to come with us. We will then be seven. We are recently retired. Our plan is to gather a cluster of exchanges in the same area / country. We have made an agreement in Bretagne for july 2024.
We are also open to other possibilities, for instance long week-ends exchanges anywhere :) Why not take a look at our other listings? Please be aware that the cabin at Fitjar will probably be in use during norwegian school summer-holiday. (18.th of june until 18.th of august) The flat in town are occupied

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Cosy cabin at Voss which definitely represents the scandinavian expression "hygge". The cabin has been in our family since it was built in 1976. Wooden floors, walls, ceiling and furnitures. Lovely view, nice for walking in the mountains during summer and back-country-skiing in winter. NB! Skiing: Challenging for beginners. 30 minutes drive to the town of Voss with its ski-resorts. We are not connected to public services like water ++, but have our good solutions. We've got our own well with lovely water in summer. Electricity, fireplace ++. Shower in the summer. We have written a information-leaflet about the cabin whitch will help you with practical arrangements. If you are using the cabin through winter-season, please be careful using water. We only have a 1000 liter tank which shall take us through the winter season. It will be easier for you with a car, but you can also get there by train.
