Our neighborhood is a quiet suburban area. 10 minutes away by foot/2 min by car, you will find a few shops, a farmacy, a liberary, and a couple of cafes/restaurants + the train station/bus stop. The train goes to Oslo Center 4 times per hour and takes 10 min. Three minutes away by car there are nice beaches with swimming and hiking opportunities. If you want to go hiking in the woods you can simply walk out of our garden. In winter time you can go cross country skiing (5 min by car) or downhill i Tryvann close to the famous Holmenkollen ski jump (30 min by car). The biggest amusement park in Norway - Tusenfryd - is close, only 15 minutes by car.
